Folks, I just got back from a mini-vacation. Drive Tuesday and Friday, do stuff on Wednesday and Thursday. I am exhausted! But I got to see some family I hardly ever see and did some fun things. Thank goodness for wheelchairs and strong family members who don’t mind pushing me. Worth it? Absolutely. Will I be resting for a week? Oh yeah.

Wow, it sounds like you had an incredible time, @Dori-Smith! Traveling is always exhausting, but making those memories is PRICELESS– I’m so excited for you. Hope you get all the rest you need the next few days; be sure to take it easy!

It’s 4am and I have not slept yet. I’m not sleeping during the day either. My neurologist has hinted I have delayed sleep disorder, or some such. (I’ve got too much brain fog to think of it’s real name, maybe delayed sleep phase disorder?) I’ve been on some sleeping pills – Trazodone – which have been a huge help. Oh my goodness, @Dori-Smith I wish I would have had the energy to get myself UP enough to have hopped on here– I could NOT sleep for the life of me last night! It’s the absolute worst when you just can’t get everything comfortable. I hope you are FAST asleep right now!

@emilyxlc Yes, I did get to sleep finally, thank you. I thought if I could do some writing it would relax me, and I needed my laptop for that, so I pulled it out. It sort of worked.

I have had a migraine every night since Saturday. It usually disappears during the day, or lessens to a normal headache, but gets worse again in the evening. My main trigger is thunderstorms, but we weren’t expecting any. They rolled in yesterday; we got one in the morning, and then the heavens opened and the lightning went wild after night fell.…Read More
