I am new to this group, I want to tell you about myself and what I’m going through . I had a 🚴 wreck in 2020 then passed out in my bathroom the next morning. When I came to I could not move, was face down, laying in a puddle of blood., and a big gash in my head. The bones in my lt. wrist, nose were broken, a tibial plat. fracture in my rt. leg, and sprained rt. wrist. I was admitted to hospital for a week, then straight to an in pt. rehab facility, and months of out pt PT/OT. I am going to a Muscle Skeletal doc. next month to get a plan for my arms. My doc said I have Myofascial pain syndrome so I’m still recovering. I just wish the pain would stop, it affects my day to day life and work activities. I also have permanent nerve damage from my spinal cord being damaged. I have a plate and nine graphs from C2-C7 and C4 was too damaged to repair so my doc took it out. I was walking around with a broken neck for 7.5 months and did not know it. Im lucky to be able to walk. This has caused me to find different employment, due to not being able to use my lt. hand and limited movements in my arm. I have adjusted, but still ask why did this happen to me?
