Well, this is different! Does anyone have any thoughts on this? COVID’s been around too long, I’m happy to see any progress towards eradicating it.

Lost my Mom in Law, Jan. 2021. They let my hubby and I go see her-he had to give the OK to reinstate her DNR-she had to “sign off” her dnr for Covid treatment. The entire ICU was full with Covid patients except 1 man and he was a diabetic with partial foot amputation. His room was sealed off big time, and we were dressed like human condoms. We…Read More

COVID’s true death toll: far higher than official recordsThe number of people who have died because of the COVID-19 pandemic could be roughly 3 times higher than official figures suggest. The true number of lives lost to the pandemic by 31 December 2021 was close to 18 million. That far outstrips the 5.9 million deaths that were officially reported.https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-022-00708-0COVID’s true death toll: far higher than official recordsModelling suggests that by the end of 2021, some 18 million people had died because of the pandemic.www.nature.com

I trust this publication and think excess deaths is a more accurate way to count those who have died in this pandemic. Thanks for sharing.

I agree. It’s crazy to think that we’ve reached 6 million global deaths and that it may be much higher

Any news on the masks that are supposedly going to be available at pharmacies? Anyone see this come to fruition yet?

What are COVID guidelines looking where everyone’s at? I know I’ve been seeing a lot of states start to lift their mask mandates, curious to see what you all think about this!
-
My opinion isn’t always popular. NV dropped all mask mandates or almost all. I don’t like it and I will wear my mask as a sign of respect to others and as a protective measure for myself. I have preexisting conditions that could mean getting COVID is a death sentence. I would never forgive myself if I made anyone else sick or suffer. I…Read More

Oh trust me your opinion is far more popular here than what I call FaceOffBook. I too am high risk and will wear a mask until Virginia brings back the law that states it is illegal to wear face coverings and still push the limits with it! No effers’ given to be honest. I see the funny looks and don’t give a hoot, what they don’t realize is I’m…Read More

I’m a bit miffed- the school just yesterday, deemed it parents choice, but teachers are mandatory in the classroom, and everyone on the busses are to have a mask on. Desite the admitted ” we remain in a “high transmission” phase” So… I guess they couldn’t resist the opportunity to confuse the little kids and irritate the older students. Com…Read More
