My pain is constant unless I’m sitting with an ice pack I just detoxed from being on narcotics for over 15 years. I would suggest having cortisone injections. These have helped me a great deal. The type that my Certified Pain Clinic uses at Yale-New Haven Hospital is not as harmful to the body as many steroid injections that were used in the past. Ristrube I just keep using the ice pack helps relief the pain and lately I been using another alternate blue ice like a gel good too

I have learned that being off the opioids I am more sensitive to my back pain. It helps to learn when I must stop and rest. I am so thankful I am off them after 15+ years
