I had a two level fusion and discectomy back in October. I had to advocate so relentlessly to obtain a decent dose Valium since it works on bad spasms. I had just undergone major neck surgery. You are so right. We see the pendulum swing too far in an over-reaction to a few bad decisions. Nobody considers the multitude of good decisions.

It’s cold outside. I’m recovering from neck surgery still, so I did all I could do for the first half of the day. Now I’m resting and watching a Christmas movie with my daughter and our dog. I love holidays for this reason. Somehow it seems apropos to rest more.

You know the older I get the colder the winter feels. Nearly every jpint in my body teacts tk thr cold. I’m in East TN in the smoky mountains. Soup is a favorite here!

I am interested in finding an evidence based, peer reviewed meta analysis or recent study on chronic pain and it’s influence on added pain (so someone with RA, and how surgical pain is rated.)
