I have chronic migraines since I was in a car accident 29 years ago. There were so many medications that we went through before we could get them down to a tolerable 2 times a week. When Aimovig came out my doctor and I tried it out and it works for me. Now if I get them I will get them the week before I’m due for the next shot

Aimovig is an injection once a month that goes directly to the area that the migraines start. It is expensive but totally worth it. There are also programs that can make it a little cheaper as long as you aren’t on Medicare.

I’m a longtime sufferer of migraines, too– it’s amazing how many different medications are out there. I haven’t gotten to try Aimovig before, but I’m happy to try something new!

Hey there! I’m so sorry to hear about your migraines, I can only imagine how hard that must be to live with. I’ve never heard of Aimovig before? Would you be comfortable sharing what that is?
